Our Mission
We Didn't Improve Home Construction.
We Re-Engineered It.
Zona Verde was founded on a simple premise: the way homes are built is fundamentally broken. Too slow, too labor-dependent, too fragile. We spent three years designing a system from scratch, one that delivers a higher-performing home in a fraction of the time.

Our Story
Building a Better Way
- 2020
- Our founders identified a structural problem in the housing industry: homes take too long to build, cost too much, and don't last long enough. The culprit wasn't the builders. It was the system. Dozens of trades, weather-dependent timelines, and materials that degrade within a generation.
- 2021
- We started designing a home system from scratch. Factory-built structural insulated panels with high-performance insulation, pre-installed electrical and plumbing, and a powder-coat finish that eliminates drywall and siding entirely.
- 2022
- We built our first proof-of-concept home and put it through rigorous testing. The system was independently certified by licensed structural engineers for building codes across multiple U.S. states.
- 2023
- We built our first 2-bedroom model and delivered it as our first completed customer home, purchased by the City of Watonga, Oklahoma. It served as our model home and stood as a live durability test against Oklahoma weather.
- 2024
- We designed the 1-, 3-, and 4-bedroom models, growing the lineup from one home to a full family of four. The Watonga home welcomed its first resident.
- 2025
- The new models were finalized in production as we began large-scale community projects, including the 25-home Four Winds project for the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas.
- 2026
- We're increasing manufacturing capacity beyond 25 to 50 homes per month and refining the system with every build, working to deliver the best homes possible.
We're just getting started.
