"Each home offers 2,022 square feet of elevated living, tailored for families and multigenerational households."

Randy Edgerton, CEO, Zona Verde, Inc.

A Home Designed for Community

A tribal community in Texas has launched a landmark housing initiative featuring nine new homes built using Zona Verde's 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath model. This design was selected for its balance of space, efficiency, and cultural alignment with the community's long-term housing vision.

Each home provides 2,022 square feet of thoughtfully planned living space, designed to support families and multigenerational households. The open-concept layout connects living, dining, and kitchen areas into a single, light-filled environment. Clerestory windows and expansive glazing introduce abundant natural light while maintaining privacy, and the flat-roof profile brings a modern, contemporary aesthetic to the neighborhood.

The kitchen serves as the central gathering point, featuring granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and ample storage. Four spacious bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a guest half bath, and an oversized utility room with laundry hookups complete a home that blends practicality, comfort, and long-term durability.

Built for Durability and Efficiency

Each home in this initiative is constructed using Zona Verde's engineered Structural Insulated Panel system. Factory-produced panels arrive ready for assembly, with insulation, electrical conduit, and plumbing pathways integrated into every unit. The superstructure is erected in days rather than months, and the factory-applied powder-coated exterior eliminates repainting and ongoing maintenance.

High-performance insulation, double-pane windows, and clerestory glazing help reduce energy consumption throughout the year. Every roof is engineered to support future solar installation. From the steel framework to the granite countertops, each component is selected for long-term durability and dependable performance.

Housing That Builds More Than Homes

With nine homes nearing completion, this tribal housing initiative is already creating meaningful impact in Texas: new housing for families, expanded local employment, and workforce skills that will support future development across the region.

These homes are designed for how tribal communities actually live: spacious enough for extended families, durable enough for decades of use, and built with a level of quality that reflects the community's long-term vision.
